I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned it before but I’m slightly marble obsessed (insert Depeche Mode lyrics here). White and grey marble is one of my absolute favourite materials – the stunning natural patterns, the minimal colour palette, the sleek but raw finish. It began innocently enough with a marble slab worktop in the kitchen and a marble topped dining table, but soon the obsession took over and with the help of some marble vinyl I’ve been able to transform any ordinary household object into a marble wonder. To date I’ve DIY’d mirrors, candle holders, notebooks and even more candle holders for good measure, much to the boys dismay! The images above sum up perfectly how marble can be used in the home and exactly why I’m an addict x
